I have not seen any statistics about how often Watford conceded possession in their own final third, but I have the impression that defenders such as Troost-Ekong often gave the ball away even when they were not being pressed. I think that statistics can be a useful aid, but I suspect that they do not reveal the full picture. WhoScored's Championship team of the season is based on each Championship player's average rating during the season. It seemed surprising that not a single Watford player featured in the WhoScored's Championship team of the season (published on Sky Sports), although Watford had achieved automatic promotion.
Shocking picture quality. Fessi just come on. Osaka and Maxi started. Zeegelaar just subbed. 0-0. Not a great pitch either.
Llorente on for Okaka. Still 0-0. Sampdoria just shading it perhaps. A couple of cheap yellows for Walace and Okaka. Very end of season stuff. DePaul not impressing me much tbh. None of them are.
Don't wish to sound cruel - but some good news. I don't think too many rated him anyway... https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/25-year-old-expected-to-seal-permanent-watford-exit/
He never really got a proper run in the team, so never really formed an opinion on him. However, he does seem a bit surplus to our requirements at the moment.
A bit lightweight for the Championship, not quite what is required for the EFL. Suited more to Serie A for sure.

Popping in, just in hope of some nice transfer rumours. I saw C. Sánchez and Lazaar have been released. Wonder if they'll be some re signed new signings? I'd love to see some decent transfers soon, but won't hold my breath.
Sinclair released too - along with someone called Mamadou M'Baye, who I must admit I'd never heard of.
Matt Rowson's End of Term Report part 2 - I love the Troy Deeney part... https://bhappy.wordpress.com/2021/05/20/end-of-term-report-2021-part-2/
Yeah what has Deeney ever helped Watford achieve apart from Two promotions Two FA cup semi finals One FA cup final Four good years in the Prem And putting his own health on the line Apart from that nothing I hope he has at least one year left in his locker or maybe two, maybe not as the main man and maybe not first team captain but as someone to help bring on and develop the younger forwards and show what playing for your club really means
