Two goals in a minute from Bergkamp and Patterson make the final score 5-1. Hope the first team squad were all watching...
I know there has been much speculation about the future of Watford FC's stadium and a possible move to Bushey. The rebuilding of Watford General Hospital could free up land to improve Watford FC’s Vicarage Road stadium, helping to keep the club on its current site. The current stadium is on a constrained site and they need extra capacity and more land. But the hospital plans make it easier to expand the existing stadium. We have held workshops with the club to explore the possibilities for keeping the stadium where it is. We have a great relationship with the club, which has really played its part in the community during the COVID crisis by making its stadium a haven for hospital staff. I will do everything in my power to enable the club to stay in Vicarage Road & remain in the heart of Watford. Peter Taylor Watford Mayor
Crewe, Port Vale, Macclesfield Town , Stoke city - if pushed - and Stockport County. ( But then I do live in south Cheshire). I think good footballing sides give me the greatest pleasure, so I'd still include Crewe , but not the rest. Brentford have been the most watchable this season. Norwich play good stuff , Everton (we've got to beat them at some stage , and in the 80's they were a glorious side to watch) and Newcassel, for the pleasure of their manic supporter tearing his hair out when l'il ol' Watford beat them.
Huddersfield Town; Newcastle United; Fulham; Brighton & Hove Albion; one from: Birmingham City / Aston Villa / West Bromwich Albion. It's all about the away-day.
They would all be away days for me, even the home matches, so I'd plump for a couple up here that I've followed for a long, long time - Hearts and Ross County. Add to that Shrewsbury for the pork pies, Grimsby for the fish & chips, and either Forest or Notts County for the beer.
León, Querétaro, Chivas (Guadalajara), Tigres (Monterrey) & América (CDMX) Just as a little tournament so I get to see some games in person!
Watford seem to be leading the way in their use of technology. https://trainingground.guru/articles/why-watford-go-their-own-way-with-gps
A double from Cukur wasn't enough to stop the U23s losing at home to Barnsley this afternoon - went down 2-3.
Kiko out for the remaining two matches. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19259416.kiko-femenia-watfords-last-two-matches/
At least we have a fit and more than capable replacement in Cathcart though - or maybe Wilmot, who must be wondering what he has to do to get a game.
