These 3 were not injured at the end of last season so what has happened to them, esp Welbeck who seemed to just get into some form.
Agree, seems strange...maybe they have not hit the fitness levels Ivic is demanding players get to in order to be ready for selection ? Just guessing
They are the ones more likely to be sold. I don't think they are injured at all. Just not training in the group. Maybe once things settle down they will be integrated into a motivated, positive group of players if not sold.
That is some players out Yorkie: Daryl Janmaat (knee) Isaac Success (achilles). Gerard Deulofeu (knee) - longish term Troy Deeney - Not fit after op Andre Gray - hamstring strain Will Hughes - not fit after op Adam Masina - not fit after op Etienne Capoue, Roberto Pereyra and Danny Welbeck haven’t yet been declared fit but expected back soon Well, it will give some other players a chance maybe. Out of that list, Hughes, Masina and maybe Deeney are the ones i'd want back. Del, Capoue, Perreyra & Welback I can all see as wanting out ASAP.
Looks like a few weeks of uncertainty.. And then will it all kick off again around the January window?
Super Foster interview in the Grauniad, looks like no problems about him staying ... https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...d-cyclist-after-football-the-alps-vuelta-giro
We got 4 yellow cards against Spurs so I think Jose would have fitted in well with Ivic's game plans , a pity he left.
