It's an unfortunate fact of life that many suffer from tunnel vision - and are blind to the consequences that their words and deeds bring upon others. It's usually people like those commenting who, somewhat ironically, accuse others of being 'lefties' - ironic because it reveals their own right-wing views, views that cause more societal damage than any other. One of the curses of freedom of speech I suppose.

Not sure that we learnt a great deal. Typical pre-season friendly feel about it. 1st half Watford on top, 2nd half quite disjointed. Decent test as Brentford are a good passing side. Deeney only had half an hour as he is a bit behind the others, but will be back in full training tomorrow. Janmaat is out injured so not included.
