I've just read the email, not quite as above. non attendance of two or more fixtures will warrant a 'conversation' not automatic blocking renewal of STs. Quite a few non attendances will obviously result in non renewal.
Surely it should be possible to get season ticket holders to phone the club by Wednesday or Thursday before a game, say they cannot get to the game, and let the club sell the seat. I think that if the club then gave a credit to the season ticket holder of say 50% against the next seasons one, everyone is happy. It does look bad to see loads of empty seats in the SEJ stand, yet the game is sold out.
I think the club had a similar scheme in previous years to credit missed games, if re-sold to the following year's ST. I don't think that is now in operation but stand to be corrected. I normally let friends use ours if we cannot attend. I couldn't give them away for the last game of the season, West Ham. Perhaps they couldn't face Watford's annual end of season decline!!
I don't include you in this SH, but over the past few seasons I have seen reports of people from other clubs managing to buy a WFC season ticket, and only turning up to watch the big teams, simply because it is cheaper than buying one for say Chelsea. Maybe a system of passing a test on Watford history should be compulsory before selling them to other than genuine Watford fans. I would be quite happy to set up an on-line system to weed them out for a small fee.
I think if you say missed 3 but told them each time you’d probably be OK to be fair. I’m missing the Brighton game too due to holiday and for evening games can find it hard to get my 10 year old son there on a work/school night (having said that, I don’t think we’ve got any Tue eve games in the fixtures this season). I try and only miss one or two each season but he sometimes misses a couple more. TBF though I live 90 miles away and the ‘75 mile’ ticket was no longer available to new applicants from a few years ago so that would be my counter argument! Having said that, I will now tell them when we/I can’t make it.
When we were first in the Prem we got season tickets, then my old man cancelled them as he realised we-d probably be better off going to only the games we could go to. In the end they came through in the post and were cancelled on his card. They worked all season. RESULT!!!
I'm really a Spurs fan, my association with WFC is only a temporary 50+ years affiliation or is it affliction?
Foster (GK); Femenía, Dawson, Cathcart, Holebas; Hughes, Capoue, Doucoure, Sema; Gray, Deeney (C) Subs: Gomes (GK), Janmaat, Mariappa, Kabasele, Cleverley, Success.
Pretty much as last season but shows we need a winger or two ! If you are at the back of the Rookery bad luck as you won't see the screen for 11 rows !
I let the club know we cannot attend the Brighton game by email. They emailed back confirming they will re-sell the seats. It seems quite a smooth process so we should be able to keep on the right side of the new rules.
Well taken goals. Things to work on but they will have confidence with wins. Dawson looked solid enough . Could with with more pace outwide . Hopefully GD and Pereyra are fit .

I top that every day, before I wake up Danny is probably 110% fit when it comes to running, strength and endurance etc, but it is the twisting, turning, sudden stops and accelerations that wear out your joints, more so the faster you are If Tommy Ho;bans joints had been as strong as the rest of him with his ability he could have been a top six team player
