Comment by the Yellow Order on Twitter, for anyone thinking of being in the same area; yellow_order yellow order Had meeting with club last night and we have decided to move to the lower left of the rookery (south west corner ) more space there
As for DG/MS and their values. I guess with DG being 26 when the season starts, he is coming to his 'peak' age, whereas MS is still very young and can be developed by any team wishing to develop him! Take a look at Wickham. I think most would say DG is a better player, but he is going for £8m plus plenty of add-ons... but it's not about his ability now, but for the next 10 years! Sell-on value is considered along with everything else...
If only! Lies -Palace are not in "advance discussions" over Macheda - utter BS United have only just decided to send him out (pending at least one more acquisition) and if they do it will probably be abroad - if it is in England than Peterborough or Watford are our preferred development clubs
Can't see Macheda in the Championship - they'll want him to get Prem experience, maybe a promoted side. On other news, nice to see another youngster sign a new contract for 3 more years; http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2383467,00.html
Following on from that, another interview with Ross Wilson; http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2382858,00.html Hopefully a few more contracts signed this week, and some signings over the next couple!
Good at least everyone isnt jumping ship and for what its worth ,most of our players are now on reasonably longcontracts!
I am sure we have been down this road before? 29 Jun 2011 16:09:09 Watfords John Eustace on his way to Leeds for medical - his replacement Ross Jenkins just extended his contract enabling the Hornets to get a fee of £270,000 for the veteran
If this were to happen, (and I doubt it will) I'd say we would be odds-on to play Stevenage in the league next season.
