Capoue red card appeal upheld again. From Twitter: The Rule K arbitration proceedings which #watfordfc commenced against The FA have now been concluded & the outcome is the original 3-game ban has been upheld. We remain extremely disappointed at the process & this decision but now consider the matter closed. Probably lucky he wasn't given an extra game ban!

A few suggestions Capoue ban was upheld to punish him for the Zaha challenge he got away with Just hope Chalobah can step him and play well, Him and Doucoure were great together at the beginning of last season before Nate's injury
My first thoughts were it was a retrospective ban due to all the hysteria from cry baby Zaha and Woy, if he was actually kicked as much as Dele Ali and Richarlison then he might have a case, but then he would have to play games instead of crying off injured for half a season, what a waste of a great talent
For once this week an Everton goal worked in our favour! https://www.bcfc.com/news/articles/2018/report-watford-under-18s-1-blues-under-18s-0/
Obbi Oulare is currently on loan at Standard Liege from Watford with a purchase option. His start at the club was difficult, putting into question a permanent deal before he even got started. Carrying an injury from the previous campaign, Oulare had to undergo surgery and then battle his way through rehabilitation. Returning at the end of November, Oulare got his first start, against Sint-Truiden, and scored, helping Standard get a 1-1 draw. In his next match, against Akhisarspor in the Europa League, the Watford owned player lasted just six minutes. In a collision with the opposition goalkeeper, Oulare suffered a tibia fracture, and a sprained shoulder for good measure, reports Belgium’s Het Nieuwsblad. The positive slant is that it’s a clean break and surgery won’t be required, with the player expected to be out for six to eight weeks, which certainly sounds optimistic. The 22 year old has arrived back in Belgium in a wheelchair, with his leg already in plaster. It’s bad news for Oulare, Standard, and Watford’s future chances of that permanent deal.
At the end of MOTD 2 there was a montage of some of our best goals so far this season: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0bw5hyz/match-of-the-day-2-201819-16122018
Watford have cancelled the contract of defender Younes Kaboul by mutual consent. The 32-year-old, signed from Sunderland in the summer of 2016, scored twice across 26 appearances during a injury-ravaged stint at Vicarage Road, including the opening goal in the Hornets' 2-1 win at Arsenal in January 2017.
