I'll look at that one closer to the date Mark, a short break in Austria looks tempting.

 

Our opening fixture of the 2018/2019 season is at home to Brighton. This followed by an away game at Burnley, then another home game against Palace.

 

Bogey sides there then Spurs and Man U at home .

At the Vic on Boxing Day and final day too.

 

I see that our Spurs fixture on Sept 1st was supposed to be away but we/ FA agreed to the switch as Spurs new stadium will not be ready till 18th Sept.

 

Fair enough - our record at Wembley is rubbish !

Watford have reportedly rejected bids for left-back Pervis Estupinan from Sporting Lisbon and Celta Vigo.

The 20-year-old is yet to feature for Watford having signed for the club in 2016 and was sent out on loan to Granada and Almeria in the past two seasons.

However, Javi Gracia is thought to be keen on integrating him into his first-team squad during the 2018/19 campaign to provide further competition on the left side of defence.

He impressed suitably during his loan spell last term, where he played 27 times to help Almeria to an 18th place finish in the Spanish second division.

With Adam Masina set to complete a switch to Watford next month, Gracia is clearly eager to have greater options at left-back where Jose Holebas and Marvin Zeegelaar often failed to impress last season.

Here he is - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pervis_Estupiñán - Must be one of a few Pozzo has out there. His name is a bit of a mouthful, that is for sure. Good to see Gracia wants him back pre-season to see what is what. I guess he might do the same with a few loanees he hasn't seen.
