Unfortunately this sentence applies to rather a lot of our Pozzo imports. So many players have ended up with careers going backwards over the last few years with us.
One Premier League chairman told The Sunday Times “the median standard has never been higher”, but that progress brings its own problems. He said that every season a club is in the Premier League it gets more difficult, because the wage bill creeps higher, the best players leave and replacing them gets harder because foreign clubs know you can pay higher fees. “It’s when you try to get better that you’re in trouble,” he said. I don't think that we can blame the Pozzos for everything cologne. Is there any safety in mid-table now. Not really in my opinion. I would agree with the chairman who says it becomes harder to find the players who will improve as players. There are hundreds of them in the PL who give the impression that by tying up their boot laces that is sufficient.
Maybe a star of the future - like his Dad ?! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...igned-academy-team-Watford-Football-Club.html
Great pub crawl there! Had a girlfriend who lived in a flat backing onto the ground once upon a time.
I used to live in Isleworth near the river.. drank at the London Apprentice and worked at the west middlesex hospital
The girlfriend was a "Sand Dancer" with as heavy a north eastern accent that makes Cheryl Cole sound like a plummy BBC announcer from another era! Raving Magpie... "ev'ry neet ah goz ta bed wi ya an' dat wosp on yer arm..." Doomed to failure once I reminded her that I at least supported my local team and that South Shields is nearer to Sunderland than Newcastle... We did our pub crawls mainly in Chiswick, but there's several decent pubs from Kew Bridge into Brenford. Or there were.... it's been a while...
My life that does sound a bit wild for me. I had a contract with a Watford supporter who had his office in London. Through him I used to export fabricated steel to Iran when the Shar was just about still in power. Each year I would go up to town by train knowing full well that after "lunch" with him I would not be capable of driving back. Do we start at the pub with strippers, or do you want to eat was always the first question. Food seemed to be the best option knowing that something to soak up what was coming would be sensible. Liquid lunch with a plate of chips was his staple diet, and he thought that would do. After a couple of years I learnt to fill up on sandwiches before arriving at his office. He knew many pubs that were tucked away in places you probably would never find, and some had some very strange "ladies" behind the bar. It was quite an education!
It most certainly is. http://www.footballgroundguide.com/...iffin-park-brentford.html#apubs-for-away-fans

Kabasele in the Belguim's provisional squad - will he make the final 23? Amrabat and Carrillo have been selected for their countries .
Good to see one of our loan players have a successful time. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...Huesca_secure_historic_promotion/?ref=mr&lp=3 Will we see the young lad in a Watford shirt at some point?
