Capoue has a new deal till 2022. https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/official-capoue-signs-new-contract
Good - I think Gracia values him whereas Slither did not - so maybe he can continue to be important for us. 29 is not old for a midfielder.

I have to admit, he seems to be the most improved player since Silva left. I am not a Capoue fan to be honest.
Gray not happy about lack of game time. Well he has hardly lived up to the £18 million fee.. https://www.hertfordshiremercury.co...tford-striker-andre-gray-disappointed-1294164
Thing is that he will find it hard to get back into the side and what he needs most is a run of games and some goals to boot.
Yet if you look at his record before us he was a pretty regular scorer. Maybe we simply do not play the sort of game that suits him. Or - he needs to get a prolonged run - but why would anyone give him that when he does not look the finished article
As long as we get more players that perform for Gracia at the right price then we can afford to lose on a few.
He did score on both his last 2 starts but got dropped to the bench both times. The article makes clear that he has the right attitude and is working hard.
Article in "When Saturday Comes" by a Walsall fan still hoping we get a big fee for Deeney as they crave that 20% sell on fee!
AHAHHAHA! I remember a Burnely fan commenting something like that just after we bought him. That is important, and he is a different trype of striker to TD9 and Okaka, good to have some mobility and pace if needed.
I don't understand why Walsall have never approached us to buy out the sell-on clause - if they had approached say 2 years ago when 20% of 30m is 6m - they could say pay us say 3.5m now and we will go away. Money then, in 2015 rather than 20% of nothing never surely would suit them.
No, what does anyone have to pay in the Prem for a proven goalscorer? A leader? Then add 20% on top. WBA chose Sturrage which I bet they wish they had paid the money for Deeney now. 25 mil is not over the top even this summer coming. How much would we have to pay for an upgrade? But I was talking about Walsall - I'm just suggesting Walsall would have been better off being bought out of their 20% a few years ago for say 4 or 5 mil that would have been better than sitting around for years getting 20% of nothing.
I remember Southampton gave up their right to a sell on fee for Gareth Bale before he got sold by Spurs for 90 million !!
Interesting to note our friend Mr Samuel has no issue with Wolves using their connections to bring players in .. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.da...David-Brailsford-overplayed-hand-British-spor
