I've been told, though, that you can't register your ticket to be resold until all other tickets have actually gone. I don't know how true that is, but it would be a sticking point - quite a few unpopular seats in the LR rarely seem to sell.
This is a bit OTT, Cologne. I'm not mad about emoticons but there was a at the end of what I thought were obviously light-hearted remarks. If I was being serious, I'd still say that the temperatures in an English winter are not so extreme that a dedicated professional can't come to terms with them. I'm told it does sometimes get cold in Brazil too
Just read your text again Theo, it was rather light hearted, so my text may have come over in a different way. I am certainly concerned that the poor dears may be a bit cold - and you are right, the Pasta may not be of the right quality I understand that Richarlison can only get Brazilian food from one takeaway in Hemel. Apparently Gomez took him there.
I had one of those rattles,Wood from Woolworths Watford High Streetprobably cost about 9pence.Used to carry it on the train from the Harrow area to matches. As far as I know not many players I watched then were on Sanchezs supposed £400,000 a week either.
You are right - as far as Watford players go anyway. I worked for the Collector of Taxes in Watford for two years - 1967 & 1968 - and know exactly how much our stars were paid. Or maybe I should rephrase that - I know exactly how much Bonser says he paid them...
http://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-transfer-announced-next-hours-everything-ready-agreed/ One more player off the books - even though I'm sure most of us thought he had gone a good while ago.
Sadly this news of a reported rift between Silva and the Pozzos would not be a surprise. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._but_sources_claim_relationship_deteriorated/
I'm not surprised Gino was utterly disappointed with Silva's actions during the Everton approach, his behaviour was well below what would normally be expected.
Certainly of somebody who thinks they will be here long term. I almost think Silva took advantage of the fact the Pozzos change managers at the end of each season and thought he wouldn't last too much longer anyway!
The Lower GT is one of the worst designed stands in the country. The pitch falls by 4' to the Rookery so by the time you get to the Vic End of the LGT seats are useless. At the back of the stand the view is further restricted by the cantilever of the UGT. Oddly the Fez Boys were allocated a block in the LGT, just over halfway towards the Rookery, but sitting at the back you'd lose the flight of the ball as it sailed through the air. Ridiculous.
Had a season ticket half way back on the half way line which was fine - but since I gave it up and buy on an as and when basis I avoid it like the plague. £40 for the UGT is vastly better value.
http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....s/marco-silva-reveals-expects-watford-1086646 A glass half full sort of injury update - Chalobah expected back in training in two weeks, but not expected to play until March.
You just gave me a very bad case of indigestion - and some very, very dirty looks from colleagues! They already think I'm a loony as my phone rang in the office and the ring tone is Zcars...
I wonder how many knew we still had this guy! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...ayer___but_likely_to_leave_today/?ref=mr&lp=1 Best remembered for scoring against Man U.
Two more off on loan for the rest of the season - Nathan Gartside to Chelmsford and Randall Williams to Wycombe
