Harry the Hornet's father has had quite a senior position at the club, not sure if he is still there. Harry has plenty of history of winding up the opposition fans. His best one was bursting the plastic beach balls of the away supporters and throwing them into the then building site of the EJ stand. They were absolutely livid. He also really annoyed the Leicester fans after the famous play off Deeney goal by teasing a little. The players treat him as one of their own, he's very popular at the club.
Not sure if this has been posted somewhere else. However, Amrabat and probably Gueds will be away in Jan. Leaves the midfield even shorter, let´s hope the Pozzos have thought this one through and have peope lined up to come in in Jan that can play in the middle! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...d_in_Morocco_squad_for_Africa_Cup_of_Nations/
Heurelho Gomes believes the players stepping up into the first team against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday due to Watford's worsening injury crisis can grasp their opportunity. The Hornets are already without Miguel Britos due to suspension while Valon Behrami and Daryl Janmaat were the latest casualties during the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Boxing Day. But Watford goalkeeper Gomes has faith in the rest of the Hornets squad and is confident their players can handle the pressure of being elevated to Walter Mazzarri's side against fifth-placed Tottenham. The former Spurs shot stopper said: “Every time we approach the game well we show [we can compete]. We showed that against Man City that we can compete. We played a very good game against them and created chances to draw the game. It’s the way we approach the game. "We need to realise we’re better than we were [against Palace] and against Sunderland as well. "We need to work on it with the manager and all the players we have available." Gomes continued: "We don’t have a lot [available for the game] but that’s where the players have to take the opportunity when there’s a possibility in football and you cannot expect anything. "But the chance will come and the players have to be prepared for it and I believe they are prepared."
Confirmation they will both be away after the Stoke game for at least 3 games thereafter - http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._games_after_AFCON_departure_dates_confirmed/

Okaka has a "very big muscle" - a bit too much information there methinks... This must be our worst season ever for injuries - or for signing crocks?
With the way things are going, it wouldn't surprise me if the team against Burton is mainly youngsters and those who have just returned from loans.
Awful... thank goodness we have progressed from out last two Prem jaunts with Aidy and GT when we could only just put a team together as we had so little money.............
Which would surely only be classified as friendly matches, therefore clubs aren't compelled to release players?

Sky Sports are saying that Okaka could be back for the Burton match - and also that Brice Dja Djedje could be playing too. It'll be like watching a new team...
