Well after Sunday's debacle, WM needs to take a long hard look at his options imo.

Prodl is playing well and deserves his spot, same applied to Cathcart before his injury. I honestly can't remember a decent performance from Britos this season & Kaboul simply doesn't look particularly capable - he has 'presence' but doesn't bring a lot else with it. Zuniga has represented Colombia at full back and Behrami has played in central defence for Switzerland - so persevering with Britos and Kaboul really doesn't make sense to me.

Our U23's managed to avoid defeat this afternoon , drawing 0-0 at Palace.

First time in a while I think, and no first team players played - a bit telling...

In spite of his lack of match fitness, Paredes played a full game for Ecuador yesterday in a WC qualifier. Must have played reasonably well marking Penaranda, who was subbed off after 69 minutes.

Given that he can't get a sniff of a game at Watford, does that mean we're a class above S. American international teams? :)

Which is precisely why he can't get a sniff of a game!!

And not being in the squad isn't exactly his choice - it must be all the more galling for him that our 25 man squad actually only has 22 names in it...

I know it's not relevant to the normal matchday pricing but our hospitality is also shockingly high now. Some years ago I took some clients to Watford which was good value but now it is circa £495 per ticket! Whilst at Liverpool you can get hospitality for circa £200 per ticket.
Sometime I would really like to take family or friends for a special treat at the Vic but we are completly priced out now.

I refuse to use the catering in the ground. Might buy a bottle of water at most if I haven't successfully smuggled one in.

I always smuggle a bottle of water into the EJ stand by keeping it in my pocket with my hand covering. My wife has had her bag searched a couple of times recently, she obviously looks very dodgy!!

I've never understood how people cannot go 2 hours without the need to eat or drink something.

Especially when the drinking part generally leads to a constant disruptive flow of people heading to & from the toilets...

90 minutes of football always interrupts a great days social. Water is always good to have.
