Scored against us last season and from what I can remember a decent player. Surely better than Paredes or Anya! Mind you Amrabat and Holebas have done ok so far.
http://www.not606.com/threads/janmaat-for-the-exit.334700/ Sounds like Watford paid a lot from these comments.
Don't bother listening to that lot. He was excellent in all 3 games against us and clearly an excellent crosser of the ball. In addition Opta show he made no defensive mistakes last year, that in a team that got relegated.
http://africanfootball.com//news/642166/Heartland-partner-Premier-League-club-Watford? A good idea I reckon, given the way transfer fees for African players are going.
The new Peñaranda, http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...reportedly_agree_deal_for_Belgian_midfielder/ signed and off to Udinese.
Sounds as if this one is not going to happen. http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2016/08/watford-not-in-the-hunt-for-8-5m-belgian-midfielder/
I believe some of the recent transfers confirm we are now the number one club and are repaying Udinese for all the free transfers we received as a Championship side trying to achieve promotion to the Premier League I personally don't have a problem with this as without the take over and the players we received from Udinese and Granada we would be out of business or playing Luton in League Two
Watford FC is pleased to announce that the club is subsidising all ticket prices and coach travel for the Hornets' trip to Burnley on Monday September 26 (8pm KO). Hornets supporters will pay just £10 (adults) or £5 (concessions) to watch the Premier League fixture at Turf Moor, while official club coach travel has also been reduced to £10 per person. Am I tempted? I don't think so.
I hope it works out well for him. He had one glorious season when the playing style really suited him, but he really was not going to get a lot of game time under the current set up. Thanks for the memories.
Flipping heck, they must be off their tiny heads... http://www.insidefutbol.com/2016/08...-5m-to-sign-matej-vydra-from-watford/302103/?
Is it a permanent deal? I hope he does well, or it will look like he has failed at three consecutive clubs.
I'd take anything they say with a pinch of salt though, they're not known for their accuracy. This was their offering for yesterday's Highland League final results - they only changed it after I somewhat angrily pointed out their error...
