One possible departure... http://www.footballtransfertavern.c...ransferTavern (The Transfer Tavern Home Page) .. and one unexpected return? http://talksport.com/football/miguel-layun-expected-return-watford-summer-160413191901?
What a fall. From hero to zero. http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2016/04/if-matej-vydra-was-a-dog-hed-be-put-down/
Re Layun: We may need a left back next season. If we make the cup final would Layun and Vydra be eligible to play if their respective loan seasons are over?
And now possibly to return and stay... http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2016/04/door-isnt-closed-on-matej-vydra-return-admits-sanchez-flores/
Scott Duxberry says that the club have submitted plans to the council to add a second tier to the EJ stand taking the capacity up to 30,000.
I'd forgotten that they've started a print version. Can you buy it in France - or do you get it sent over?
No, I haven't seen it, but they are advertising it on their web-site and you can enlarge the piece relating to it.
The Under-21s are beaten 2-0 by Cardiff City. Disappointing result (again) but promising to see Tommie Hoban get 90 minutes.
Under 21s having a shocking run but good to see the likes of Hoban and Ekstrand getting match fitness. I suspect they are being kept quite busy too!
Liverpool playing in Europa league on Thursday before the Watford game. Looks like we'll be playing on the Sunday.
Yeah, just waiting for confirmation. I am thinking of driving up and getting a cheap hotel for the night.
We were going to make a weekend of it, then we weren't, now we might again. Either way we'll be going.
Jose Holebas' equaliser for Watford against Everton last Saturday has been ruled to be a Seamus Coleman own goal. OG is our third highest scorer this season.
That's now 2 of our goals that have been taken away from our players by that panel. It would be interesting to know what the goal tallies of strikers of years ago would've been if it had existed then. Would Dixie Dean have got 60 in a season? Would SLB have as many goals for us as he does? I wonder if they have a similar panel in other countries. If they have one in Spain, they don't look at the goals the big names score as I've seen a few scored by Messi and Ronaldo over the last couple of seasons that should be taken from them.
I actually agree with the Holebas decision - pity for him though - as the ball was clearly heading across goal rather than in before it hit Coleman's head. The decision to take Ighalo's goal at Chelsea away from him was just plain wrong as the ball was going towards the goal even before it hit Cahill. But hey-ho, what do I know, just been watching the game for 56 years...
On the BBC Sport website there is a list of Referees and the teams they support : Stuart Attwell & Kieth Stroud.... Both support Luton!
