And they are losing 1-0 to a very young City side.

Mensah curls the ball into the top of the net from 25 yards. Super strike that should please H.

As of 9.00 pm tonight there were only 58 home seats left for the Millwall game. The visitors have been given 1,795 seats and are restricting them to 1 per person. That new stand will be needed before long.

Bristol City maybe have been unlucky to lose with two very close calls for penalties. 2-1 to Watford with the head coach in attendance.

As the board is quiet and we don't yet have a match thread for Saturday's sell-out, here are some comments from Holloway today which are interesting and surprisingly complementary:

“We are going to have to earn everything at Watford, the pitch will be great and will suit us.
“They are playing in black and white (their kit from 100 years ago at the start of World War One) and we will be in yellow so that will be a bit surreal.
“Hopefully their players will give us the ball because they will think it is their shirt.”

Watford may already be on to their fourth manager this season, but Holloway admires the Italian owners for how they are running the club.

“We’ve got to pay Watford massive respect.
“If Troy Deeney and Matej Vydra are fit those two were phenomenal a couple of years ago and now they are back together.
“The level and standard of player that they’ve actually got I think they are very fortunate.
“The Italian family who own them are ahead of the game of football.
“They are a credit to the game to be honest with you so I think Watford are lucky to have them.”

Am I the only one who thinks this is a little buit nasty? If the bloke chooses to say he's staying out of loyalty to current bosses (without having criticised us) then why turn round and more or less call him a iar and say it was all to do with cash? Can't see what is being gained by that tbh.
