Vydra really put a shift in today and you could see the old partnership starting to come together again, but can't fault anyone. Great team performance.
"Watford FC is aware that the stadium sound is still far from its optimum level in some areas and will continue to work on perfecting settings to serve supporters, which includes investment in new audio infrastructure around the stadium." So the complaints were justified.
Chatting to someone in the office about Forrestieri's second run on goal. We both thought Deeney was going to throttle him - didn't look impressed at all! What with that and Gomes raging at the defence when the team was 3-0 up I think it all bodes rather well
But then, didn't Troy do something similar a few minutes later, going for goal with better options (Abdi was one) available?

I don't know if it counts in the League Cup but I wonder if he is just being used as the "unlucky one" out to ensure we have enough home grown players in the match day squad. I remember last season on a couple of time the club admitted this was the reason for leaving him out.
Alex Jakubiak is off to Oxford on loan. http://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/oxfordunited/11407336._/?ref=twtrec
I watched him a few times last season and he has an excellent first touch and an eye for goal. Def one for the future.

Sounds as if pressure to keep Deeney comes from all quarters. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11411116.Vydra__I_m_under_pressure_to_deliver_goals/
As a back up keeper Paddy Kenny has just become available. Cellino doesn't like him because he has the squad number of 17 which he apparently regards as bad luck. Fruitcake anyone?
