I'm not sure what they could do anyway - they don't have any powers to slap a ban or fine on anyone over this. Maybe I'm being cynical, but this happened two weeks before the Anelka/quenelle business and that has been 'settled' - so maybe nothing has happened with this because there is no-one they can fine. Or perhaps they are waiting for action from the Italian FA...
Totally agree, it's all a bit like a really good craft beer opened at the end of a decent night out left on the table and now we're supping on it the next day, we know it was good, we know the ingrediants are there but it's all very flat and wishy washy warm. The defensive game may be more successful in points terms but even when we were losing with zola I still felt a buzz that's just gone for the minute. Still love the club but it's another one of those flat sections at the bottom of the roller coaster for me.
I get the impression that Sannino is not too impressed by our latest acquisition of Lucus Neill judging by his comments in the watford obbo. Perhaps Sannino has just had enough of our Mr Luca Nani and his talent scouting skills!?!
Or, he still remembers, and is embarrassed by, this - the cause of much anger and accusations of cheating at the time - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr2oTmQ0GwM Still rankles with me too...
Spoke to my son at the weekend who lives in Sydney and apparently this was big news over there, all over the press and people coming up to him and asking him about Watford...then the socceroos dropped him!!
Did anyone see the Late Night Football show last night and it's feature on Charlton FC and their ownership? I was disapointed that they didn't bring our situation into the discussion. We are both owned now using similar business models but ours seems the more mature model.
Will this game EVER be played? http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/140304-herts-cup-re-arranged-1387176.aspx Ironically the Youth team played at Potters Bars in the 1st round against Hadley without any problems at all in December.
Its quickly becoming a farce! They should either move the game to London Colney training ground, Vicarage road or a neutral ground. If they are unwilling to do so and cannot hold the game, they should forfeit the match.
Seems Crewe don't think Uche is fit enough.. http://www.crewechronicle.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/not-fit-purpose---boss-6772208
That's damming isn't it? When was the last time you heard of Watford players not being in condition? Hopefully that side of things is resolved.
Seems we have a want-a-way defender in our midst. http://www.fotbollskanalen.se/england/joel-ekstrand-vill-lamna-watford-vill-hitta-pa-nagot-nytt/
Uh oh - will the curse strike Vicarage Road? http://www.football-league.co.uk/ch...ager-of-the-month-nominations_2293322_3698318
Bit surprised he was shortlisted really - I hope they don't give it to Dyche as that could trigger a Burnley collapse and i'd love to see him get up there.
I wonder if was only at Man U because he was Wes Brown's brother.. Looked pretty rubbish in the Under 21 games he played. In fact probably the worse player on the pitch!
