Watford Observer‏@Observer_Owl Joe Garner has signed an 18-month deal at Preston North End after having his #WatfordFC contract cancelled.
Joe Garner has moved. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/10147000.Garner_makes_Preston_move/
Glad to hear Garner is off our books, to think Zola was starting him regularly at the beginning of the campaign. Also, Murry needs to sort it out, obvious talent, shame to waste it.
I think that this news item shows that it will not be quite so easy for the Pozzos scouting network to bring players in with the regulations that exist in the UK. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/10149476.Striker_s_Watford_trial_delayed_due_to_visa/
Hopefully this lays the Hogg rumours to rest until the next time they surface. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/artic...rd FC ... Latest News)&pageView=full#anchored
Hornets to travel to Ashton Gate on Tuesday January 29 WATFORD will now travel to face Bristol City on Tuesday January 29, following the postponement of the original fixture on Boxing Day. The game over the festive period was called off due to heavy rain in the Bristol area. The Hornets will now take on the Robins at 7.45pm on Tuesday January 29 at Ashton Gate. Those supporters who bought tickets in advance for the original fixture are able to receive a refund from Watford’s Ticket Office if they aren’t able to make the new date. Please note, the deadline for this is Friday January 25. Tickets should be sent to Watford’s Ticket Office at Vicarage Road Stadium, Watford, Herts, WD18 0ER or brought along on a home matchday. Original tickets are still valid for those supporters who intend to go to the re-arranged clash. Visiting Watford supporters, who received a voucher after paying cash on the day, will need to send their voucher, along with their name and address, to the Hornets’ Ticket Office if they want to attend the re-arranged date. New tickets will then be issued. Those supporters who received a voucher and can’t make the game should contact Bristol City's Supporter Services on 0117 963 0600. I will be off shift then so hopefully I will be able to go this time

I had already said a few times that Tommie Hoban had said he was Injured. He said that after Charlton lol. And him i trust. I will have to arrange the time off for it, grrrrr
Just found this on the BBC website "Middlesbrough v Watford, 15:00 GMT (BBC Radio 5 live sports extra)", so you can listen online but no pictures. I wonder if this mean no John Marks?
Over the years on here there has been some grim humour about how we might form our own team that would be better than some of the stars that were being paid to play for WFC. I seem to remember dodgy joints, lack of height, overweight being used as excuses for only managing ten minutes each way, but we were able with numerous subs able to put a team together. Now the chance has come to put all of those fine words to the test. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/130109-play-on-the-pitch-at-vicarage-road-588508.aspx
The last time I listened to our game on 5 Live, Jon was one of the commentators for part of the time. I had always wondered where he went to when he handed over the 3CR mike to another commentator.
