True - but I hope we can hang on to him after that. Until that injury, he was one of our better players - and probably still is. Forsyth certainly isn't the 'finished product' but has the potential to be IMO.
Yes, but it took him as long to reach the top of his form as it would take Micky Quinn to run a marathon. And there's no humour intended there. After a period of not playing, it would literally take him four to six competitive games before he put in a good 90 minute performance, after which he settled down to consistently be one of our better performers.
GFZ seems to think that McGinn has a lot of talent, just cannot see how to get him match fit at Watford at present.
Loan him out, get him up to speed and match fit then bring him back, most sensible thing I've heard in a while. It would benefit a lower league club, he's a good player. We OWN THE LOAN SYSTEM !!! lol
wasn't that non-league day? Northwood were giving season ticket holders free admission...i felt bad and bought a programme lol
Dicko going out on a months loan to Pompey, and the fans down there seem pleased. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-return-for-dicko-1-4394813
lets hope he does some good down there. I would like to see us help them as much as possible. I would hate to see them go out of existence.
Has anyone heard any more about Bassini's interest in taking them over? That really could be the end of them...
Its unlikely to happen. The trust are the prefered bidder and the other business man is more popular with the administrators than Bassini. Only a fool would let him anywhere near a business again.
i've read a lot of Pompey fans saying they'll be glad to have him back...must be split on that one...i wish him luck anyway, he won't get back in our team for a long while, if at all so it's a sensible move..
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/10008725.Cardiff_and_Noone_helping_Watford_defender_appeal/ We are going to appeal the length of Pudil's ban. But what will happen I wonder....
A strange situation - Cardiff fans reported that Noone had complained to the assistant ref & that led to Pudil being sent off. Now Noone has submitted a statement supporting Pudil?? Fair play to him if the suspension is reduced - but if it is overturned altogether, I'll be starting to think 'conspiracy theory'
I suspecty Malky has had a word with the player as he won't want players trying to get others sent off...
