I know an Italian who has a very nice restaurant that has been feeding WFC managers and directors for some years. You could almost hear him from here rubbing his hands together, but if the Red Lion is to be turned into something posh and Neapolitan, his hopes for early retirement will be dashed. ;)

Surely the BBC can get Roberto Perrone to do an interview with him and translate?

Heck, I'd even put up with Vialli doing the interview.

As I am sure you will have read elsewhere NNW, the Pozzos are not known for their public statements, yet when it suits they are happy to chat to Italian radio.

It's very important that the club communicate the current situation today. The players will be starting pre season training on Monday and it will be crucial to have the management team solidly in place by then.

Did we already know this bit of the WO story?

Still in place French, and presumably to the same timescale, although I suspect the strings attached will be somewhat looser.

According to Jon Marks, I think, there is now a large sewing machine at work on the pitch putting in the plastic. Looks as if the damp? weather you have been experiencing has helped the grass come along nicely. ;)
