What do people think about the Graham situation? It's possible with 3 clubs bidding that he may go for an inflatted price?
Or maybe they are all trying to see who they can get the best value from with a number of good championship strikers on the market - Long & Bothroyd as well as others. There can't be many others that would be interested in Graham and maybe they won't be prepared to come up to the valuation the club have put on him.

 

Bothroyd is out of contract and it looks like Celtic are after Long. DG is only worth what we can get for him, hopefully a Prem team one which will still be there next season!

 

I think he is the best one of the 3 you mention Chris , I think he will be gone this window and prob for less than his valuation because the market is flooded with players looking for clubs as finances hurt lots of clubs ,thus they are not offering new contracts! This in mind anything over 3m will be good !
We might also be able to take advantage of some players that are looking for a club , maybe some good deals to be had closer to the end of the window!

 

Maybe there are too many strikers on the market and DG will have to stay another season!

Lot of people on a flooded market will drive prices down ,which for the game is a good thing ,justs hurts us in this matter!

 

When not if he goes, we need to have someone lined up rather than rely on the loan market for a proven striker. If the WBA deal is correct and they are offering Simon Cox as part of the deal it sounds good, he was at Swindon if memory serves and scored for fun there!
