yes i am! I have no idea what i'll say... but you can bet your bottom dollar it won't be a traditional response..coz i wouldn't know what that was! lol
On a more serious note, has anybody seen or heard from Sir Luther. I think his last posting was 11/10.
Here's what Eddie Oshodi thinks: RT @EdwardOshodi: squad was more than good enough at start of the season, theres a difference between hungry players and comfortable players RT @EdwardOshodi: certain players (good players) are seeing themselves forced out of the club due to lack of opportunity. players need trust RT @EdwardOshodi: i'm gonna stop before i get myself in trouble but i'll forever have love for#wfc was there since i was 9 it was all i knew I think he's saying what we're all thinking.
i think SD made mistakes yesterday. I am not asking for his head, i just think the loan signings send the wrong message to the players we have, which is a shame. Yesterday was the first day i thought SD had made a blatant error...especially if the rumours are true that SL is thinking about going...
I am beginning to fear for our club. I want the youth to be given a chance. How must they feel? Several have turned down interest from much larger clubs than us in the belief that they will be given a chance and progress to the first team. Instead they have been farmed out to places you only hear about on the travel news, only to see journeymen and players who are not regular first-teamers at their own clubs, go ahead of them in the pecking order here. The general consensus seems to be that the incommers are no better than our young developing players. I think that the short term goal of the manager may be different from the longer term goal of the club. The manager, in his first ever manager's job does not want relegation in his first season on his CV. He sees tha answer as bringing in more experienced ( but maybe not more talented or motivated ) players. If we do avoid relegation this season these players will not be any better next season, but the produce from our well respected academy will have improved but still find their path blocked to the first team. If they are then given a chance to play, what happens to all the signings from this year? To be fair, a couple of the signings do look promising, but only a couple. The longer term goal of the club MUST be the development of our academy, and this means progression to the first team. As the season goes on, the mamager's reluctance give the youth this chance is becomming more amd more evident. If we don't give the youth a chance we will just go back to being the same as all the other clubs, struggling on low gates.
Observer_Owl Watford Observer Swooped over the #WatfordFC training ground and Michael Kightly is there so looks like his injury isn't too bad and is staying
A little something from our latest signing http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2492697,00.html Danny Graham sold the Hornets to him. Potential stitch up?? Shame on Danny.
scottloach1 scott loach Rite watford fans I do not want to leave I'm not going to! The house is a base back home 4 me n my family. That's all!
That says heaps so why we got another goalie , I dont get these loan decisions at all ! , can one of my well learned friends on here explain them to me ! I would have thought a creative Mid or a decent winger would have been a more urgent reqirement! Why are we seeming to ignore our very good kids? I am struggling with a lot of Seans decisions!
It seems the rumour was premature. At the mo we don't have another goalie, though he's on a list of 50 possibles, apparently. Let's see what happens.
scottloach1 scott loach apparently ive asked to leave now? where do people get these rumours lol! dont be so daft! didnt happen and never gonna happen. good!
Injury clearing up so Kightly is staying it seems: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9325261.Kightly_to_remain_at_Watford/#commentsform
Might get another game or 2 out of him , good at least he seems to still have a bit of quality about him!
