A balanced article I think, although I believe that the conundrum that is Mr.B still needs explaining more. It says that Julian Winter had the trust of the fans, but Baz has still someway to go in my opinion to earn that trust. After his rocky start he seems to be doing the right things, but it would help if he was prepared to do the JW thing and turn up at a fans forum.
Anyone seen a report on the U 18 game against Chelsea from a Watford perspective? Why is it the club or the local media don't bother reporting junior or reserve games? Every other club does
I'll take on board what Harrow and WY said going forward, but this is somewhat of a rhetorical question that probably doesn't warrant a thread. When was the last time a Watford youth player who was hyped from a very early age was the cream of that year's crop? In recent years, compare the attention that Sordell and Hodson got in the youth team with that of Bryan and Oshodi.
Thompson doing well at Brentford and sticking with them for a little longer http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2455602,00.html
Not exactly big news, but we've signed a former Arsenal youngster who's aged 16. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9261317.Watford_sign_former_Arsenal_youngster/
A quick reminder to all Hornets' fans that this weekend's fixture between Watford and Nottingham Forest will kick-off at 5:15pm and is being shown live on BBC TWO.
i saw another report of that interview...i have to say, he was very honest about last season...and knows what he needs to work on..fingers crossed he gets his game up this season.
Most certainly one for the future there. But nice to see the idiots on the WO site are coming out early.
Now all I got to do is to convince the wife that we should stay in Paris till at least the weekend, so I can watch the game
