I bet he's been very active with Wilson in both, targets identified talks ongoing and hopefully young Shauns eyes are firmly on the first team selections and tactics required to take us to the top of this division!!!!

 

Im sure he is very active, but he can now afford to look at loans seeing as though most squads will be almost fully established and managers will know who they need to gain experience.

Let's hope Watford's history of developing youngsters and giving them opportunity holds us in good stead... But then I guess Palace are pretty good at it too!! Maybe the training ground facilities might convince him....

Watford have had an undisclosed bid rejected by Motherwell for Jamie Murphy. Remains to be seen if they will up the offer.

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott is looking to sign Watford right-back Adam Thompson on loan following the injury to Frank Simek.

 

I suppose that the Adam Thompson rumour is a possible but the Jamie Murphy one unlikely. Jamie is an out and out winger and I think Stuart McCall will be looking for £1m +, can't see him being on our wish list - but you never know!

 

I hope and half expect that one of Hodson and Thompson will go out on loan for some playing time. Based on experience, I assume it would be Thompson, and Carlisle are at the right sort of level.
