i love this rumour! 24 May 2011 20:20:59 David Beckham to meet with the Watford board tomorrow morning. Not regarding playing but investing. ATM
anyone else heard this?? 24 May 2011 19:42:01 Michael Bryan will be shown the door by Watford after a prank went wrong on the clubs final training day. As the players were warming down the injured Bryan was supposed to be getting treatment on his sore ankle but instead spent his time sealing all the locks at Watfords London Colney base with super glue. This meant ALL the staff were shut out from the clubhouse, offices and canteen areas until a locksmith could be called but thankfully for the majority standing around in their training kit another smith in the name of Connor saved the day! He'd arrived by bike and used his tyre repair kit to unlock several previously stuck doors but Mackay is now fed up with the permanently injured Bryan and he will be sold before the start of the season.
I love the Beckham one too! Hope the Micheal Bryan one is wrong , such a nice lad ,although very comical , I reckon he could have done that for a laugh, If MM bins him for it , will be the worst managerial decision he has made yet!
http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2366666,00.html Clearly a sign that the fans have confidence in Mr. B, or have I got that wrong?
Or is that our loyal fanbase blindly renewing and hoping for the best? Frenchie it can be read either way!
Maybe quite a few enjoyed the football last season and thought they would get some more of it? A bit cheaper now than QPR. Matchday ticket prices are: ã47.00 to ã72.00. What a way to treat the fans. 40% increase to watch the prem.
This is the one, very slight, quibble I have with forums of this type. I click on the thread, and all I see is "Ouch!"
I can't see them selling many more now that the early bird sales are done and dusted. I wouldn't imagine we'll sell more than last season, though i could be wrong. And i think QPR have behaved very shabbily..it's not like the club is poor and needs the money, how disgusting!

Problem for QPR fans is that Bernie Ecclestone is used to getting steep pay rises from car manufacturers and truly global corporations. Mittal specialises in buying the steel industries of financially troubled countries. Can't think of two worse people to be at the mercy of.
5% rise you can take 10% for the love of the club albiet probably grumbling 40% thats not on , I feel for the steptoes loyal fans , this will impact on their families budgets!
