Jordan Mutch has squad number 12. I wonder how low a cheeky bid could be to get him out of the turmoil that is Brum?
wouldn't that be good! If the rumours about how much we're talking about spending on Vokes are true, who knows!
Don't think we'll get Jordon Mutch in a million years. Under the circumstances that Birmingham find themselves in, he is a manager's dream. Young, ambitious, and has already shown that he can be a quality player in a quality Championship team. And "quality" is understating how good we were at the end of his spell here.
I'm dreaming that Carl Dickinson will offer us the overlap down the left wing that we have craved for so long... your one is probably more realistic!
The rumours linking Watford with all Walsalls team have stopped for a while. With Rene Gilmartin not pushing Scott Loach very hard and Troy Deeney being linked to Millwall the Walsall experement has not been a success
I do not have the slightest feeling that we could get Mutch, even if Brum are selling or loaning out every player with some value at the moment and replacing them with out of contract players. I think that SD gave us a strong lead as to the type of player we might get when he said: “We are not in the market for multi-million pound signings but we are in the market for different players to add to the group. “We need support and pressure on certain players in certain positions because it raises people's game. That is the way it works in football.”
I think, by the signings we've made, we've seen the kind of players SD is going to bring in...lol...i wouldn't want to meet any of them in a dark alley!
I think it's too early to say that Dyche is or isn't building a balanced squad. The fact is that we needed some physicality, and that's exactly what Dyche has brought in. Regardless of whether individual players are good enough, the overall balance of the squad is superb right now, and the question is whether that balance will be retained over the next few transfer windows.
