Well if Paolo is gone, which I think is definitely on - they’re just negotiating his exit terms I think, I’ll openly say I think this is a good move. As for Javi, I think he’s a shrewder man-manager and not devoid of a plan, which I have felt Paolo has been for some time.
Gino has kept our best players (I certainly thought we’d seen the last of Baah, Louza, Chakvetadze) despite the obvious potential to cash in, he’s bought a decent centre-forward we’ve been asking for, and we have how many new signings? Gino has invested and if this is the last season we can afford to invest like this without further Premier League cash, I don’t want Paolo pissing the season away, our best players getting pissed off, planning their exits because their arses are shining the bench.
