I got every single correct score, sadly all the teams let me down

I must admit to having a chuckle over our guests score this week He does have Spurs v Man. City to come tomorrow (0-2) which could ease his embarassment a little, though I fancy Spurs to nick something there.

 

I, also, got every single correct score...

...although not necessarily in the correct order.

An average scoring week with lots of similar scores around. The highest scores just edged over the hundred mark, with theghost, Charlie, Zen and Dave taking the honours. Theghost is still using his psychic powers to great effect at the top. Otherwise not many changes in the placings this week. Matej is now well in the lead in the family stakes with Andy bringing up the rear.

A low scoring week this time, which was exactly the best time to make hay, which Fez and Yorkie both did. Fez with the highest of 125, courtesy of a unique tip on Watford, moving him up to 6th. Yorkie also scored well with 117 thanks to good use of the joker. Elsewhere, with some exceptions, it was a round for gnashing of teeth - with the late goals going in at the wrong matches. Theghost still leads, but with a reduced lead over Chris, with Brian jumping above Frenchie into 3rd. Andy has jumped above Seb in the family stakes, which dads aren't meant to do.​

Amended to include 40 extra points for Brian - these were for having the joker on Palace v Spurs, which was also a unique scoreline. Sorry for the mixup, for all concerned.

 

The league table has been adjusted to include an extra 40 points for Brian, moving him into second with 111 points. The mixup was because I had not initially noticed that the Palace v Spurs was a unique scoreline.

Highest score of the round was a whopping 158 by Andy courtesy of good use of the joker, and through tipping the Watford scoreline correctly. The optimists amongst us didn't do very well on that one. Theghost has increased his lead at the top, with Chris moving into second. Apart from Andy it was an average round for most of us, with little change in the placings.​

Thanks cologne as ever. I wonder how many remember Horace Batchelor who used to tell you how if you used his system you could become very rich on the football pools? I think that it was Horace Batchelor who became rich by selling his system rather than the punters who followed it. His method only was looking at home, away or drawn games. To predict scores is much harder.

I would like to point out that I predicted Liverpool would score 3 but my prediction for the Horns to score 3 too did not quite pan out.
