Could this be the year of the Canary ? This week's highest score of 177 takes Dave up from 11th to 3rd place. Had Liverpool got a second goal in the closing stages then the 200 mark would have been broken for the first time ever. The second highest of the day, 96, takes Charlie up into second. Not much now separating the top 3. Elsewhere moderate scoring for most of us.
Just a reminder that the joker should be placed on a non Watford fixture ie. one of the other 9. The Watford score is doubled anyway and there is no way that I am doubling it a second time - this could, potentially, lead to a score of 180 points for one match, which is too much for one match. It happened this week and a joker placed on Watford is simply a lost joker which could have gone somewhere else.

Still, mustn't be greedy, it bwas nice to get a correct score on my joker, that certainly helped!

Not a lot of changes this week. Highest scores were by Chris with 110 and by Fez with 106, elsewhere it was all pretty moderate. Canary Dave has moved into second place and our new boy Lawro is doing well amongst the professionals in 4th - he does have a game in hand which is Burnley v Newcastle tomorrow night. He has 1-2 to Newcastle so I am certain SD can help to scupper that ! Seb is still in poll position and taking the family honours.

A thoroughly miserable day on the pitch and some generally low scoring on here. Andy made a wonderfull gesture and remembered to post Seb's tips but not his own - if I have made a mistake here please direct me to them Andy - I can't find them anywhere. Highest scorers were myself with 119 and our Mark with 86, nudging him up into second. Very close and clustered at the top, which is unusual. We now have an international break next weekend.

No changes in the top places this week, all still very close. Our guest from the BBC could go top if Stoke win 2-0 at Brighton tomorrow night - so, come on you Seagulls. Some high scores this week, which often happens when the Horns win. Highest of the round was 158 by Brag, followed by 132 by Hornette. Chris and Hackney also topped the 100 mark, with Chris moving up into 6th.

The new league table has a slightly suspicious look about it this week !!! I placed my own joker on City winning 2-1 at Huddersfield, and only realized later that I was the only one to tip that result - with the resultant rush of points. This, combined with perfect scores at Palace and Udinese, secured 166 points. Charlie moved up to third place, and there were also high scores by NZHorn and by Matej. Still all very close with around a hundred points separating first from eighth.
