The only time I can get my Mrs interested in football is when she likes on of the blokes on the pitch (ai, you can look but can't touch, fair play) I asked her to predict a score, she just rolled dice on her phone app. 4-4, like I predicted. Please don't bet on this score - my predictions are never good and this confirmed it !!
Dont see a 4-4 but maybe a 2-2.!!! I predict a close game and a 2-1 Hull City win. Good luck afterwards though.
I don't usually predict us to loose, but I think we will today; 2-1! However, if Aluko's fit, then can see us winning or getting a draw!
Just about to leave for the game but thought I'd look at the web first - I think this game is the one that will decide which of the two teams will be a serious contender for the play off's or better. I really hope we win, 3-1 is my prediction - but a little worried about this one. Never heard of any Watford supporters not liking Hull City AFC - seems like we are similar teams - both getting up the noses of the big boys. I'd rather Hull than Leeds!!
Hmmm couldnt you have your lucky shirt with you in your bag or something ? For I think we will need all the good luck we can get today
True - in fact two of my favourite non-Watford players were from Hull - Ken Wagstaff and Ian McKechnie, both good players/great characters.
It doesn't sound as if anyone is too confident about the result today, which is why you pay your money to go and watch without knowing what you will get for it. No fit for purpose returns here.
For what it is worth in our prediction league 29 went for a home win 2 for a draw and only one for an away win. Mind you as I said earlier I went for a home win but reckon a draw or away is equally likely
What a nice bunch of lads you lot are! I have always quite liked Watford as well. Hope you get no points today of course but I hope you have a great season and a playoff match up between our two clubs would be a great way to end up next May
A tweet from the WO Observer_Owl: Good news for #WatfordFC as Sone Aluko is not fit enough to play for Hull. He is one of the best players in the division in my opinion
Hull XI: Stockdale, McShane, Chester, Bruce, Brady, Elmohamady, Quinn, Evans, Meyler, Koren, Simpson.
Team news: Watford:Almunia; Ekstrand, Hall, Hoban; Cassetti, Yeates, Chalobah, Hogg, Pudil, Deeney, Vydra subs:Bonham (GK), Anya, Abdi, Thompson. Geijo, Mujangi Bia, Battocchio Good to see Abdi back, even if only on the bench
Yeah Aluko is a cracking player, always a danger and our top scorer bit of a shame that he is not fit
Arrived on time today BB. Nice clear sound coming through? Any idea what the old Player commentary is?
No idea - was going to ask that myself. Am not game to click on the link either. Aluko must have improved since I last saw him play - he was just an above average player at Aberdeen.
