Conceding one (seemingly unlucky but I'll need to see it again) goal against an attack of Bent and Benteke... ****ing hell we're gonna concede millions every game and go down :(

The defence were fine today, esp when Richardson came on

The observant amongst you will have noticed Foxy picked up a knock during the first half, I am fairly sure that is why he went off, watch Match of the Day for confirmation, but it did us a big favour in giving Clyne a chance to cut in on his right foot and create uncertainty in the Villa defence, the best way to beat Villa was by running at them with the ball, instead of those clever chips into space which worked a couple of times but seldom resulted in a chance.

I am hopeful our defence will develop nicely with Yoshida in our team. My main concern is that our midfield has a strong attacking flavour and we may need extra cover, a Cork or Ward-Prowse to balance defensive duties in some games.

Is he ever up to much? I still have nightmares about that blackpool away game last year and him getting ripped to shreds lol (not to mention other games)

I think your being too harsh. He was an integral part of our team last season. He has struggled so far, but only had a couple of bad games last season.

I don't understand how fans can witch hunt a player from their team.
