Well I watched Extraction last night and I thought it was quite good. A little far fetched, yes. These things always are but I'm a sucker for a bit of over the top action! Anyway, if you want a realistic military battle then just go and watch Captain Tom trying to get out of the bath

Just watched Extraction, as you say quite good, slightly disappointed if I’m honest. I’m getting into Gangs of London now that’s excellent. Lad in work recommended on Netflix Queen of the South, about the drugs cartels, so watched the first episode and it’s looking very promising watch. Now my daughter on my sons recommendation is watching Power on Netflix and the both say it’s excellent.

Have you seen it? In context, it was quite amusing. I think the Spanish crowd's horror in the background of finding a baby (toddler) in a litter bin with its head sticking out the top was equally good. Perhaps I just have a warped sense of humour <laugh>

I don't have Netflix, so it's a bit of a faff to watch all these things. Maybe I should just watch the first episode of each one and take it from there. I shall have to investigate, thanks for the pointers

    Just for Matt <laugh>

I'll set the scene.... Villanelle (assassin, Jodie Comer) has an assignment in Andalucia. Posing as a piano tuner, she takes out the mother of the baby with a tuning fork. There's a baby monitor on the desk. She investigates upstairs and finds the baby with a old nanny. The nanny gets the same same treatment with a tuning fork to the forehead. Villanelle takes the baby into the town square to a cafe where she meets her 'handler' (Harriet Walter).

Formula 1 - both seasons - very watchable (and I’m not much of a F1 fan)

I thought it was brilliant. Now started Queen of the South on Netflix, about the drugs cartel. Watched two episodes and it’s very good.

Good film for you The Gentleman, Guy Richie film. Saw it at the pictures and thought it was excellent. So DVD out now and watched it tonight, now I’m not a Hugh Grant fan, but he’s excellent along with Mathew McConaughey.

It’s a slow burner, 13 episodes in series 1 and there are three series’s of it. I’m up to 6 or 7. I’ll be watching more later.
