I get that. I just think if I’m going to go to the effort of having a swanky watch I’d want a new one. My mate can get them off the cruise ship at a big discount. May check and see what price he can get a speed master for.
0% finance up 4 years mate, free money, get it ordered https://www.beaverbrooks.co.uk/0010...MIl6bwtciy3AIV4bvtCh0qmwBYEAQYASABEgJYgPD_BwE
It’s lovely. I know I can get a seamaster off the cruise ship with my mates staff discount and no tax for around £1000.
Aye, the knack is buying the right one. Some of the higher priced ‘fashion’ brands don’t hold their value particularly well.
Well I now have a Taaaaaag to wear whilst driving the Jaaaaaag. Couldn’t justify an omega. Only other brand I like are Tag. Got to get the strap made smaller.
I wear a wooden watch from Tense. Love it. So light I often forget it's on my wrist. Good conversation starter too.
I've got a fake Rolex too given to me as a joke gift from someone who had been to Thailand. Works great and looks great. Don't wear it because usually think it's a bit pretentious to wear an expensive watch anywhere I go (even though it is fake)... And when I go somewhere I have to dress up I feel a bit odd wearing a fake Rolex..
I love watches - not come off as a glorified karaoke singer on a "talent" show but I wasn't well off when I was younger and I just wore watches from Argos - not that they are bad or anything, Sekonda and Accurist are good budget brands but I always wanted a "proper" watch. With my first paycheck I bought a Tissot - a proper Swiss made watch. It was the cheapest one they made and also ex display so I got it for a song and I wore it daily for around 10 years before some absolute ****y bastard stole it while I was playing football. That watch was discontinued but I managed to find the exact model in Portugal last year and got it shipped over for stupid money - could a more premium watch but I loved that one and still have it today. However I do have to say my favourite watch is my Seiko SNK803 https://wornandwound.com/review/review-seiko-5-snk803k2-military-beige/ that only cost me £20 new off ebay - I bought it intending to replace the strap but I love how the beige just seems to work.
Wake up early, look where the sun is. Do that again periodically. Job done! How many cavemen have been found wearing Rolex or Omega’s?
What part of rarely did you not understand Billy? I know your English is not so good so I’ll help you along with it as I’m a helpful soul. Rarely; Scarcely, Hardly ever, infrequent, A Spurs title win. That’s why I depend on nature and unlike you Billy I’m not vulgar or pretentious.
