Bought both of my kids a Tag Heuer watch for there 21st's. I told them they could have £100 for each year of their lives, so they had £2100 each towards a watch of their choice. Hopefully something they can keep and could increase in value over the years.
They started doing it a few years prior to that iirc. If you can see it clearly with the naked eye then it’s likely faked.
I didn't even know it was there until someone told me about it. It took me ages to find it. One has to hold the watch at a particular angle in the light.
Think if I can actually bring myself to part with the cash I’d just buy a new one. Whether I can force myself to part with that much cash for a watch I’d be too scared to wear is another matter.
Anybody have a Mrs who likes bags? My Mrs has over £100k worth of bags. That's a lot of trips to Tesco at 5p a go.
A new one is twice as much though. Thants the thing with Omega and Rolex, if they're serviced and in pristine condition they hold value. That watch doesn't look 20 years old, it could easily pass as nearly new. Watchfinder is a good source of second hand watches.
