My main worry about Sharp, and I still have this concern, is not about his ability but about whether he will settle well off the pitch. Its has been well documented that he has always said that he likes living in Yorkshire close to family and friends, obviously this time with the lure of potentially Premiership football and working with a manager who he has had success with before was too much to turn down. I hope he can settle as if he is happy off the pitch then he will thrive on it.
Sharp said himself that this rumour about him wanting to stay up North was a myth...he said he just happened to be at teams near his home. He was the one who delayed signing the Leicester contract waiting for Saints.
Equally, as he has bad memories of what happened up North, a new start darn sarf, could be the making of him. Time will tell and is a big healer.
