Home kit is acceptable - no more. The other 2 I would expect to have been produced by a 2nd year Design student!

  2. First is a bit like the 96-98 kit by Reebok. I think all three are poor for nowadays, the second and third are just awful!

I've rang them up and they have decided to change their mind on the kit. This will be our new away kit for next year. <ok>

They're all terrible. This means I'll definitely be buying our current home kit soon and pretending these don't exist, I was waiting to see what next year's would be like. This season's home is excellent, the away is alright but I wouldn't buy it and the third kit is gross.

Why can't they keep the look of this season's home kit but just change to a v-neck and add white trim around the neck only? That would look fine. For the away kit I'd like to see a white shirt with black trim, a modern update of the 2001-3 Reebok kit maybe.

Just seen the full pic on the mirror site which thankfully includes the lovely pixel/diamond design that's all over the lower section, that makes everything alright, top kit!

    1. i think its indeed very cheeky to have a set of new kits again after 12months.

    2. I bought to new home top this year BEFORE they sacked kenny. they'll not get a red cent form me again... why... classless actions by henry in flying a guy out there to do that then the ymade a rubbihs, cheap nasty kit.. i don't want to wear the red kit i bought.

    3. thought the black kit this year looked bad when it was shwon to us but on people its fine.

    4. white kits are very popular always as they go with jeans according to my mate anyway... i don't thin kthat'll be the kit necessarally as its a bit fussy and looks like someone mokced it up.

    5. 3rd kit is a waste of time.

    6. home kit looks to be ian rush special.. next thing it'll be vertical yellow stripes and hitachi on the chest.

This is alright, don't like the white on the neck and prefer the collar and pinstripe (can't tell if that's been retained) of the current one.

    Edit: crazy not carzy

Sure this has been said before but us having a new kit every season is just falling in line with the rest of the higher profile PL clubs. Good point earlier in the thread about Warrior's investment in us, no way they weren't going to try and get that back, with profit; this means more kits being produced.

The kits posted here are probably leaked prototypes from several designs, or fan mock-ups that have been touted as legitimate. I'm sure Warrior come up with lots of designs before a decision is made on which the team will actually wear on the pitch, some of these will be more outlandish than others, I hope (away and third kits in particular) that these are just the designers pissing around and not legit.

  18. I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't more or less got that investment back already <ok>

The last adidas kit was just a red Chelsea kit and vis versa.
