On the subject of Warnock and last season, admittedly we were able to win games last season, but in all honesty, last season we didn't actually play THAT well for the majority of the season. Derby at home was probably the worst game of football i've ever seen, and that is just one game, but my point is we didn't play like a team who had too much class, Warnock just knew how to beat teams of a similar standard to us. He cannot do that against teams who are much better and ooze much more class.

If investing in a new number 2 would suffice, then by all means I'm happy for that. But in the long run, Warnock is not the man to take our club forward.

    Spot on <ok>
NW Gave them the game before a ball was kicked.
    One up front at home?
    Replace pace of SWP?
    giving silly goals away?
    Bad subs!

We are in catch 22 with NW

It's a relief to read some QPR fans who actually speak sense. Can you take e couple of idiots who came over to our board back please?

I thought SWP and Taarabt were very decent in the second half. SWP terrified me every time he got the ball and Taarabt was pretty dangerous too, don't understand why SWP wasnt playing at first or why Taarabt got taken off, but I really think that made the difference. Up until Taarabt went, you looked way more likely to score, only stopped by a great save from Ruddy. I think you do need a couple more signings, if not to improve e squad (because the quality is there) just to add a bit of fresh air, make a new start. I can see you finishing top 15.

I completely agree with you there CR. Taarabt, whether we like his attitude or not, is still our best player. SWP will always be effective, and I'd love to see them two on the pitch together much more frequently. We are a much capable side, and in comparison to your Norwich side (who have done exceptionally well with the squad of players you have) I would say we have more proven quality. But it is sides like Norwich who prove to us why signing these overpaid players who don't care about the club that maybe we need to be wiser in our signings. I'm not saying sign good championship players, but at least players with a point to prove.

I came on here curious to see what you lot thought of your manager, and this is pretty much what I expected.

Lambert has said on many occasions that he always believes our team are capable of winning games, which explains the positive triple sub yesterday. You have to try and win your home games, especially against opposition such as ourselves who you stand a genuine chance against, so why go with a lone striker? I didn't think his tactics made much sense at all, which has to be a worry at this level. Warnock is proven at Championship level and below, but has he actually managed to successfully keep a promoted team up?

On the plus side, SWP was a genuine threat yesterday, I don't know why he didn't start, and he will be a danger to defences a lot better than ours. On the right day (with the right tactics), I think you have the quality to beat teams a lot better than ourselves, but it isn't happening at the moment, and surely the responsibility for that lies with the manager?

Despite the bad blood on some of the threads after yesterdays match, good luck for the rest of the season, I'd like to see Wolves, Wigan and Blackburn go down.
