TBH I really don't care what side he puts out as long as there is some pride, passion and we give Preston a bit of a pasting.......not asking too much is it?

Too right! Be nice to see the ball on the ground and the players looking like they know what they are supposed to be doing!
Can see that happening Sooper. Watch this space for Adel/Ravel/Routledge/Townsend or someone similar.
I have no doubt that Warnock will get them going. He won't put up with any freeloaders. Expect Hoilett and Philips to start playing better.
I think Luongo has the makings of a great creative midfielder - needs to be paired with a Makelele style holding man to allow him to make those forward runs we saw earlier in the season. If we do go for anything it has to be a RB - but can we bring back Furlong? I think he showed immense promise last season, and was sadly hung out to dry by some seasoned professionals who should have known better in the Palace and Arsenal games. I still think Angella is a decent ball playing CB, but as many have suggested we appear to need a CB who can get stuck in and head the ball (like Clint only 10 years younger)
Biggest worry is that at this stage in the season (barring injuries/suspensions) do we even know what our first eleven would be ?
Hoping if there is to be a bounce it'll be because Colin puts his arm around some of them and makes them feel that are valued and will get a decent crack at a run in the team.
Like to see Diakite back in the midfield. Box to box player who would add much needed energy to that area.
Great post. Would like to add one thing. I think we need to find a left winger as well. Someone left footed who can get to the byline and cross. Someone who's natural game is like that, rather than a makeweight being played there out of their natural position. I'll be the first to admit I have no name to offer a solution to the problem but we need to stop playing players out of their natural positions.
I think this is absolutely right. I gave up trying to choose a team as i could only think of Hoilett and that is a dreadful state of affairs. Sad to think that despite the fact he is not a natural left sided player, he has been used there for the past 3 seasons simply because he (allegedly) has pace. Who else...? Traore? Not Chery as he seems far better suited to the playing centrally behind the striker. Given we have Charlie in the centre it's almost criminally negligent we don't have better (more dependable) wide options.
I think it's clear Ramsey was trying to solve that conundrum against Derby by playing Yun there.
...and for all the criticism of Mackie, at least when he plays he does take on/try to beat players and get balls into the box - and he is defensively responsible too.

In a few games when he did have it all together he looked pretty good.
I can't remember that many where he looked good and didn't then have a rush of blood to the head and get carded/sent off/hack someone down - talking of which I took the small seagull to see his debut on loan for Watford against Brighton... guess what happened...
Shame because I agree that he really is quite a decent player.

Rangers are languishing in 13th in the Championship ahead of Warnock's first game back at the helm, at home to Preston on Saturday.
He told the club website: 'I am going to do my best. This is a club that is special to my heart. When I got a chance to come back and help I was really pleased.
'The situation is that I can steady the ship until the club appoint whoever they decide to. This gives them more time to make sure they get the right one.

'I'm disappointed for Chris. I spoke with him the other night and he wished me all the best.
'Some people have told me this squad is better than the one we had when we got promoted. Technically it is very good but in the Championship sometimes you need more than that - you need more desire at times and more passion at times.
'I am looking forward to seeing if the lads can come up with that little bit more.
'Everybody is going to have to be on their toes and we are going to have to be better than what we've been.'
