He worries me too, jurys out on him until the January transfer window closes, then we'll see.

We lose - Warnock's fault - bad selection, tactics and no plan B.

We go to Swansea, go in a goal down (when they've only lost to Man U and only let 2 in all season) and yet come out fighting, get a point and look like nicking it.

What do people want? Mackie scored a smart goal, Taarabt has been eased back in and is showing form and a vastly improved team ethic, Faurlin got MOM on Sky, Barton had a much better output and we even saved SWP and a few others for the no pressure, try and get something, trip to the emirates.

We've had a change of owners and plenty of injuries and form issues and are well in the mix and yet people still aren't happy.

I get the feeling Santa not only failed to deliver the ponies that all of you princesses wanted but also pissed on the turkey too.

    Get real.

Good post, although I do feel there are negatives from today (one being bossed around in the first half by what we consider, as fans, one of the 'weaker' teams in the league), there are still plenty of positives, and you cannot fault the teams work ethic.

So pleased to see Adel back in the fold as well, it's amazing to watch how much the opposition switch to the back foot whenever he's on the ball.

Agree with all the positives and nice to see Warnock giving Traore a quick lesson in how to take throw-ins! <laugh>

Hopefully there will be a period of time where we can field the same centre back pairing for more than a couple of games.

I'm not always a fan of NW's selections and tactics...but yesterday was a GOOD DAY and people are still moaning!!

Agree. I felt we were giving them too much respect in the first half and standing off them - NW changed that. When we were in their faces, the balance changed in our favour. Faurlin well deserved M.O.M . I reckon Neil has been rightly on to him about his tackling, and he was superb yesterday

I think it shows that Warnock is feeling the pressure, or maybe it's just the frustration of just how many injuries with have been getting all season, which is why we've had to change things around so much.

But I think last nights game illustrated something very clearly, it isn't warnocks selections or tactics at fault, it is wholly down to the team. I was expecting 3 changes at half time because if how bad we were in the first half, but he didn't make a single change and yet look at the difference in the second half. It was like we had made 11 substitutions because it was like a whole different team.

Warnock needs to be judge on the whole season, or at least the second half, because we didn't have the same opportunities to strengthen the team until it was too late. Then add our awful list of injuries, it's no wonder we've slid down the table. But things will change an the only way is up!

    In Warnock we trust.

Agree with most of that mate...but, and I know I'm in the minority here, I really didn't think we were THAT bad in the first half!! Much better in the 2nd, but ok in the first.
Still....that's what the games is all about eh? Opinions.

Awful list of injuries??? Why does that bull**** excuse keep popping up? How many games have Kenny, Traore, young, Ferdinand, Barton, Faurlin, SWP, Tarbs, Mackie and HH missed all season combined due to injury? 10? Out of a possible 180? Only DJ has been a long term casualty this season. Oh and Dyer apparently. Soft excuse.

Barton, SWP, Ferdinand and Traore weren't even there for the first 3 so that's 12 at least. Traore and Ferdinand have missed a few since, Barton once due to suspension, Kenny missed a couple, AT had stomach problems, Mackie had that feeble excuse of coming back from a broken leg. Faurlin hasn't missed one and HH has battled through all bar a couple.

Reckon that would be nearer 30 mate, 1 in 6 or 16.6%. Not exactly settled.

I sometimes think people on here put all our players and staff in a hat and draw a name out to decide who to have a go at. If we lose 3-0 at Arsenal I'll be writing 500 words on why Jude the cat is a ****.

I felt the team looked a lot more cohesive than they have in the last four games, first half felt although Swansea had a lot of possession apart from the goal they didn't create an awful lot, passed it about in front of us but no real edge or thrust, so no we didn't get bossed. Second half we took the game to them and had some great chances to win it.
    Thought Warnock was spot on.

I'm in that minority too Col - thought the game plan was to not Chase them needlessly around their half and to get forward in numbers. We did OK on that barring a few too many wasted passes but looked good when it clicked.

That plan only worked on the basis of us not having to chase the game so we needed to change after the goal. NW kept it steady until half time and then sent them out fired up.
