People can offer a differing opinion to you without it having to offend you, OODB. I often post opinions that are fairly controversial. If people disagree, then that's up to them. If you post something that most people will drastically disagree with, then you're bound to get a bit of stick. Who gives a crap?
I'm all for alternative views, as long they hold some water. There is a fine line between alternative view, and just being plain silly though. eg, Defoe would make a great CB. Its an alternative view isn't it?
I don't even care if a view is completely ridiculous sounding though, as long as the person commenting can show why he believes it's a worthwhile opinion. I read someone say that Bale should be played up front. Sounds a little ridiculous, but he backed it up by explaining his reasoning. Still don't agree, but it's a fair, well thought out comment.
As ever PNP, I agree with your general idea, but writing nonsense doesn't really have place anywhere for me.
We need to get Levy to state that Bentley is not for sale at any price, then see if that attracts interest. If it doesn't, Sunderland'll probably have him.
