If he was English would you say that he hits his missus because it's part of culture? Because like you said it happens in this country. It probably does happen in Senegal (yet to see your proof that it's higher than England and part of their culture) but to tarnish them with the same brush it wrong. So Al Qaeda are okay because it's part of their culture and they misinterpret the Quaran? Just as Simon said (excuses the pun) there have been incidents since, which you seem to ignore convieniently. I depair sometimes at the delusion of some.
By heck, you lay them up, I'll swat them down! 1) Dennis Wise did the same at Leciester, John Sheridan (LUFC legend) did the same while manager at Oldham, Ferguson (yes, him) threw a show or boot or teacup and hit Beckham in the head (think it was Beckham), Ribery and Robben in April, Ibrahimovic has a verbal bust-yup that could have led to fisticuffs with his team-mates, Beckham having bust-ups with his team mates at LA Galaxy, Hartson kicking Berkovic in the head in training, Bellamy attacking Riise with a golf club. Football is a passionate game with passionate people. Sometimes - if you have ever played the game which I doubt given your holier than thou attitude - you get upset at your team-mates and sometimes it boils over. And if it does not look like the manager can resolve the situation, one of them has to go. 2. Driving offences - **** me, string him up! No, hang draw and quarter him. He should NEVER play football again! 3. There is a brawl in a nightclub. Diouf is there - interestingly with Anton Ferdinand, the guy with whom he had a bust-up at Sunderland and who incidentally was involved in the bust-up with Terry (he must befucking guilty of something, he's always involved!) - and someone makes an accusation and he is "arrested", as anyone is when there is a suspicion and you need to take them in for questioning. Result? FOOTBALLER El Hadji Diouf will face no charges over a nightclub brawl. The 31-year-old was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder following a fight at the Circle Club in Manchester city centre in the early hours of April 15. Premier League defender Anton Ferdinand, 27, was also questioned under caution by police about the incident and was released without charge. Doncaster Rovers striker Diouf was among six men arrested by officers investigating the incident, which left a 33-year-old man needing hospital treatment for head and neck injuries. The former Bolton Wanderers, Liverpool and Rangers player was a teammate of Ferdinand at Sunderland. Three men have been charged in connection with the fight, police said. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: âThree men have been charged after a disturbance in a nightclub in Manchester city centre. âLeon Walters, 33, of Water Mews, London, Wayne Boucher, 41, of Bonsor Street, London, and Steven Martin, 41, of Shurland Gardens, London, have been charged with affray.â All three men will appear before Manchester magistrates on August 16. Yes. Spanking and violence is part of British culture unfortunately and it still is. Don't be so silly. Everyone knows al qaeda were just a cia black ops mission Do 'im in Benny. 'E is scum of the Earth that one. Should 'a been put down at birth
Are you actually saying that if I kick the crap out of my wife when I see her on Friday that I shouldn't be condemned because it's part of my cultural and social conditioning? Because it REALLY sounds like that's the way you're heading. Am I wrong? Great. An almost watertight rhetorical point clearly demonstrates the rank stupidity of your position and you resort to dubious "humour"? I thought the other day you said that this was a "debating forum" where "people debate things". Or does that only hold up to the point where someone demonstrates that you're being (charitably) more than a little silly? Same again. Every time someone uses logic and reason to demonstrate that you're making yourself look like a gibbering ****** you ignore their point and carry on lecturing people. Anyway, as I said I've told Shaun to ban you from Elland Road for the forseeable. Letting the likes of you back in there would probably send the policing costs back to where they were last season if you ever opened your trap in there.
But it's the repeat incidents that really tell. I have quite a few members of my family involved in the law and believe me when I say that, on this scale, there is no smoke without fire (and that's a phrase I usually hate). As I've said, if you don't care about his personal life, that's fine, but don't make excuses for him.
Yes and no. Because you have made a number of points. There should be condemnation - as stated many times in this thread, I do not condone any of the actions discussed. In addition there should also be punishment. But there is also education, and there is rehabilitation, and then there is giving people another chance. You have read me wrong, but I also suggest you are choosing to do so in order to make a cheap shot by accusing me of being racist in some way. I also freely admit that, as this is a difficult point to put across and that many people in the past and in public life have fallen foul of the holier-than-thou brigade who refuse to see the concept of the point and just accuse people of racism, I may not have put the point across very well. An almost watertight rhetorical point? Now that's what I call silly! I didn't bring al qaeda into the debate, and such an argument solely deserves a humourous response, otherwise it would have to have been a serious response debating how stupid it is to bring in al qaeda. Get ma drift? Secondly, I don't expect to see you resorting to any dubious or pointless humour on this board anymore. Which would be a shame, because from your historical posts, it appears all that you can do. This must be the first time you have attempted to actually debate, because you are not doing very well. Did you not get the note that this country has moved on since the 70s in terms of calling people "******". It is very derogatory and discriminatory. I classify you in the same manner as others are classifying Diouf on here, as you have shown yourself to be no different. But to answer your point, in relation to my post and the original contribution it referred to, the contributor merely raised the same points that there have been 11 pages where I have answered them time and again. I'm not going to do it again. It's boring. He's boring, and you're boring in bringing it up again. Pointless and dubious humour. I sincerely doubt you have been to ER in the last 10 years.
To judge a man by his weakest link or deed is like judging the power of the ocean by one wave. Handwritten note in Elvis Presley bible.
How did Diouf do? I'm a bag fan of his, i see we have won but i been to busy trying to fit a new ****ing head gasket all day to read much.
I wasnt going to post again on this thread, but for ****s sake its football, if we are going to judge our players then let history judge them !! because believe me Mr Bremner was no saint (god love him) so what Dioufs past is, Is of no consequence to me at all, its what he achieves for us on the pitch , get over yourselves and get behind the lads and try and understand that none of us are angels we just dont get in the papers as much as others, its not a case of justifying ones actions but understanding that we are LEEDS, dont think for one minute that Revie would not have signed him because he would, he understood the importance of the word FAMILY, one team, one goal and how we get there is together supporting LEEDS UNITED through thick and thin,M.O.T forever. Rant over.
We are the most hated team in the country. We are the most hated fans in the country With the most hated Manager in the country. May as well have the most hated player. God, it makes you proud to be British! MOT
This is the type of thing that would get me to hate someone and I would be quite unlikely to change my mind as time passed http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-19310014
Absolutely awful I really hope and wish this ends well for the family - Terrible time to happen as well
