100 articles Beth? Anything we might have read? Chick lit? Particle astro-physics studies? How intriguing Nice use of idiosyncratic too, if only Cerny was that verbose
http://www.soccernews.com/warnock-diouf-lower-than-a-´sewer-rat´/68083/ Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock has labelled El-Hadji Diouf lower than a âsewer ratâ after the two clubsâ FA Cup meeting on Saturday. Warnockâs side exited at the third round of the prestigious competition after a lone strike from David Hoilett condemned them to a 1-0 loss at home. But just as disappointing as the defeat for Warnock was the serious injury by striker Jamie Mackie. Diouf appeared to aim a tirade at the injured player as he was stretchered from the field in the 31st minute, earning the Senegalese the ire of Warnock. Warnock said an initial diagnosis was grim for Mackie, with the Scotland international breaking his tibia and fibula. He claimed the result âpales into insignificanceâ. âHeâs a fantastic lad, so thatâs why I was disappointed when El-Hadji Diouf starts. The lads were furious at him,â Warnock told Sky Sports. âHeâd broken his leg. There was no need for it. I think the Blackburn people were embarrassed.â âI canât buy people like that. I donât know why he wants to take on the world every week.â âThere was no need for him to put the finger up and talk to Mackie like he did. He was calling him a disgrace and all sorts of things.â âI think for many years I think heâs been the âgutterâ type of boy. I was going to call him a sewer rat, but that might insult the sewer rats. I think heâs the lowest of the low.â âI canât see him being at Blackburn much longer because I canât see Steve Kean putting up with someone like that in the dressing room when heâs creating a new image.â âI think heâll be the first to go. Good riddance. I hope he goes abroad. I wonât miss watching him. Sign him? I wouldnât want to talk to him." I won't believe this until it has happened. He canât sign him, he just canât.
It was you who initiated the hypocritical lecture, petal. And I think your 'idiolect' is horrible, especially the ellipses.
I thought you had gone..............but that was wishful thinking on my part. The "idiolect" is mine (thats why it is an idiolect) and hence I don't care what you think. I also don't like your use of the word "petal" either, I am not your or anyone elses "petal". However I am drawn to you by the synchronicity of our two avatars, but that is as far as it goes. So please will you now go....and please do not come around here again calling me petal!
You're the horrible, red kind of anarchist though, judging by that picture. Eww. And sorry for using a term of endearment. You endeared yourself to me so much that I felt obliged to use it. Flower.
Mr Ifil, it is time to cut your losses and go. You came here to try to wind us up over the loathsome Diouf and failed. You have had the quality of your English shredded which must be very disappointing for you as an “article editor”. Now you are resorting to being a chauvinistic moron. You’ve lost so just go now before you feel the need to stoop any lower. In the words of Marcus Tullius Cicero “O wretched man, wretched not just because of what you are, but also because you do not know how wretched you are!”
Give up while you have a chance Jerel. You remind me of that old Bernard Cribbin's song ... "There I was, a-digging this hole A hole in the ground, so big and sort of round it was And there was I, digging it deep It was flat at at the bottom and the sides were steep ..."
Goodbye Jerel Thank you for all the intellectual discussion we have had over the last few days, it is such a shame that you felt you had to return to type with you're last rant. I will not be responding any other future endearments such as petal, flower, love or even "hey you there". But can I leave you with one last explosion of ............................"parting is such sweet sorrow"........................NOT.
Of all the threads, he turns up on one about the sewer rat; the freight is proportioned to the groove.
Reds tend to enjoy physically oppressing non-violent people to gain their 'liberation', 'social justice', 'equality' or whatever they want to call it. For example a factory owner who they think is paying his workers below the odds, even though they choose to work for him. Whereas us 'yellows' don't like any non-consensual acts of aggression and think people should be free to live their lives as they choose without unwanted interference from others. I don't like the literal use of the word 'anarchism' per se because it implies there should be no form of government, which means there could be no option for people to voluntarily give up their freedoms for protection if they so wished. Although, in fairness, most anarchists with any consideration for the human being would permit that. And calm down, the rest of you mardy arses. Just because we're signing a player you'd sacrifice an arm to see in a QPR shirt.
Wow, an attempt at dialectic. Your generalisations undermine it to the point of unintentional self parody though. Are all 'yellows' so patronizing, especially to women? We would have to sacrifice our brains to want a past it sociopath like Diouf at our club. As a Leeds fan, this won't be a problem you encounter. You clearly haven't understood that our only interest in this is the disappointing hypocrisy being shown by our sacked manager.
Only when they initiate the act of aggression. In which case it becomes self-defence. And please do show me where I've generalized falsely and explain why, if you're that bothered. Oh come on, have you never heard of forgive and forget? Warnock had no proof that Dioufy had been abusing Mackie, and Diouf has now retracted all the insulting stuff he said about Warnock and said he'd love to join Leeds. If Warnock can handle Taarabt, I'm sure he can handle a wee pushover like El Hadji.
