I've got to second ROD's comment, jgf2 would never insult or make hurtful statements in that fashion, not that sort of guy.
I like him because he's a character, and the game, like life in general, is sadly lacking characters!!!
Not really, as not knowing and the context of the original comment intimated there might be something else... like she has been unfaithful or etc... I am also in a similar position with my xyl who whilst not cancer has a growth in the skull attached to side of brain... we and friends actually have the odd joke about it! her best comment to date was " I'm like a living time bomb" they wont operate till it is life threatening that is simply if we do might kill you, so live to fight till the result is good / or was bad!
My bad - I mentioned her in the first place knowing how partisan some people can be. For the record I wish her a speedy recovery and all the best life can give her. I was at the game today and it wasn’t mentioned. Credit to everyone.
