Warnock has got the Leeds job

All I can say is that he must have been very lucky or had qualities which we did not recognise when he was with us because we like our owners don't take the long view and give our managers time to do the job

Funny how a matter of a few months, scrub that weeks, scrub that days, makes people forget that they were among the first to call for Warnock's head when thing started to go wrong.

Interesting that Blackpool went up as miraculously as we did. They spent no money. Played bloody well, (at least when they were going forward even if their defending left a bit to be desired) and inevitably went down. To their everalsting credit, Blackpool's owners did not hit the panic button, Holloway remained in employment and Blackpool currently sit 4th in the table, in prime position to make a charge at the end and reclaim their place in the top flight.

Are there lessons there for our owners and ourselves as fans? I hope so.

The man was a legend and I wish him all the best for the remainder of this season and next. Wouldn't it be omething if after all that has been said and done, Ken Bates gives him more of a chance next season than he ever had with our owners past and present?

One thing's for sure. Leeds under Warnock is an interesting combination that has my attention for the remainder of the season. However, with Bates as owner, something tells me it's likely to end in tears.

Question is, will NW convince their fans as he did with so many of ours?

Someone that knows their football, Hill might be on the slow side but is a solid LB, good positioning, tackles and good in the air... correct about Traore, can't tackle but good going forward, Traore is one of those players when a corner is taken he is hoping that the ball doesn't come near him. Taiwo so far has been extremely bad, poor positioning... no tackles and allows anyone on the left side to get a cross in... can only hope he improves but somehow doubt he will.
