Hughton and Pulis out then. Ainsworth and Flynn qualify.

We are not going up we need to consolidate and not
    get relegated.

However this is without doubt the worst Championship in quality I can remember.

So far the best side ive seen are Brentford!!!

Its not without possibility we could get a couple in the window go on a run and go up.

Judging from what ive seen all 3 teams whoever go up are going to be seriously lacking in quality.

Everyone wants to go up dont they.?

    We are no different.

If we go down so what.

I really hope we dont go for Flynn.

A lot is going to depend on the possible embargo.

I just realised Neil Harris walked from Millwall recently. A possibility id say.

    Surprised but not surprised.

Personally sad we don’t get to give him a good send off. In hindsight if he’d said after we were officially relegated he’d resign we’d have been able to have given him a right royal send off at the last PL home game.

Please can the City board take advice from people who know something about football.

Last time he signed for us he walked after a couple of games to go to a so called bigger club (Forest) and got absolutely pilloried by the Ninian Park crowd as we walloped them 3-0 a few days later

A lot. The club will suffer badly. No guarantee they’d come back up.

No to Pulis but 100% yes to Hughton.
    Definitely no to Flynn.
Wouldn’t be too disappointed in Ainsworth.

Well, I have to say I was absolutely fuming at the boo boys yesterday.

We didn’t deserve to lose the game, had played better football than in previous games this season, had out-passed a supposedly superior footballing team and had retained more possession.
Yet there they were, the same fickle to$$ers that would have been cheering Warnock's fist pumps after the Birmingham game the week before booing manager and players.

I've never countenanced booing my own team and I really, truly hope that by "encouraging" Warnock to go, it doesn't come back to bite us in the arse.

I'd have happily waved him off with much gratitude at Xmas if we were completely out of the running for promotion / a play-off place but he deserved more than he got Sunday.

The modern football fan can sod off.... completely clueless, plastic, Premier League drivel eating mindless lemmings.

There's this guy potter who seems to be able to do things with young players and bring through from the lower squads. Do you think he might do?

Someone who is up to date with the modern game,,,Warnock pullis and a few mentioned on here are old school and no good....Bellamy is a good shout. Swansea gave Martinez and Monk their first taste in management and they had a huge impact and are always wanted when available....Bellars have masses of experience how the game should be played imo

But no man management skills at present Dai. His reputation for upsetting people goes before him.

He needs to earn his stripes by managing at a lower level first.

    Well said Brizzle.

I thin we should all remember the mess the club was in before he arrived.
We've moved a long way forward off the pitch, stabilised things on the pitch albeit with some turgid football, but we've been promoted, and relegated, and are in a more stable position financially. However, as has been acknowledged, Colin's tenure has run its course. All good things come to an end.

So, thank you for what you've done for the club Mr Warnock and enjoy your retirement (will he really retire?).

Hopefully a new man at the helm in the next week or so. The timing is good. A few weeks to run a rule over the squad before the next window (umbongo permitting). A few players will be seeing the writing on the wall if a more progressive manager arrives. A few others will seeing a chance to get more game time in a more suitable style. Maybe even get a lot more out of the likes of Glatzel, whyte, vaulkes, and harness some of the youngsters at our disposal.

I agree with most sentiments regarding NW.
He did an amazing job in many respects. His only failings, in my opinion, we’re his poor dealings in the transfer market and his inability to use our own homegrown players.
A fantastic job and thank you NW, now enjoy your well earned retirement.

Masky says, Thank you Neil Warnock, it was good while it lasted! Cancelled my SKY subscription a month back, after watching us against someone...so dire can’t recall who TBH. It certainly wasn’t entertainment, NW became stale and uninspiring. I don’t think his reputation was affected...he did good! Listened to Tony Pullis on TV the other day, no thanks...broad Cardiff accent...dire football man! Lee Johnson for me! :emoticon-0103-cool:
