If you are following a team that cost 300 million to put together, then you expect abit more than defend with 10 and lets see if we can catch them on the break, I expect tactics like that from a game like Exeter vs Man U in the FA Cup. Chelsea tried to play against Athletico and got torn a new one. Talk to a Chelsea fan and they always bitch about penalties they should have won and that referees pick on them

I think it's worth remembering that moment: http://tgsphoto.photoshelter.com/image/I0000PNVEL_pBOS4

Yes, they were all over it, telling the story as one of a ruthless dive by Billy that needlessly left them one man down.

Strange isn't it how one season can change your feelkings towrads a club. I've always has a soft spot for the club and it's fans going back to the Brooking days and their FA cup win. Last season though peed me right off. Nolan and Fat Sam in particular really wound me up and I'd love it if we got a result there next week. Love it! ( see what I did there!)

There was always a bit of rivalry for me because for a few years they were relegation candidates with us in the PL, but always managed to get out of it. I used to think it must be time for them to get relegated...same as some probably thought about us. Had terrible dream last night where Sam was looking smug showing off all his players and we had so many injuries we could hardly field a team...bit too near the truth for me.

Completely agree that Jos will come good again - as much as anything, his attitude seems spot-on. He knows he's playing badly and will pull out all the stops to rectify that. I also agree with the idea that he should play this game ahead of Maya because of the obvious physical threat West Ham/Carroll will pose.

Ok dude, Atletico Madrid. Over here the two Madrid teams are only called Atletico or Real, at the mo the most popular being Atletico because of the way they play and a certain Falcao. They really did show our top teams how to play in Europe. If we had a whip round I think Falcao has a buyout clause of only 50,000,000 Euros, get James from Porto as well at the same time for only 30,000,000

Think you are underestimating how good Barcelona are. They are an unbelievable side they get 70% possession against Real Madrid.

I agree it doesn't matter how you win and only that you actually win. Long ball, high possession, counter attack...whatever. You have to play the tactics that give you the best chance against the opponent. I disagree the best team always wins though. Referees, linesman can effect things as well as pure luck. But parking the bus you give yourself the chance to get lucky in the first place, they'd have been torn apart playing aggressive formation so it was wise from Chelsea.

It's not hard to get 70% possession when you pass it around the defense like that.
