    Does no one else think its an utter disgrace that when you click on Sky Sports or BBC Sport this morning, the pizza trophy isn't even mentioned on the headline page? Yet they can find space for Pele to congratulate Ronaldo on his goals, or a bit on the NFL passing record being broken, or the NBA Golden State Warriors ending a barren run, or Ricky Hill being the first South Asian to play for England.

    Its almost like they think its a meaningless trophy. Well they should be more respectful to little Sunderland, its a big thing for little clubs like them in League One. They nearly went out of existence not long ago because they're so ****. Like a phoenix from the flames they rose to claim the Pepperoni Cup.

    Just fighting the good fight for the smaller clubs mate, I don't like to see this kind of thing. Sunderland worked really hard, its a big thing for them without wanting to be cheesy. I'm sure they kneaded the dough too.

    What you on about Sid, we are a little club under this owner. Its difficult to give a **** anymore. If the sole purpose of your club is simply to exist in the PL, then I can't be arsed. Give me conference football actually trying to progress any day of the week.

    And there was nee hedging about it, perhaps a healthy dose of sarcasm :) Truthfully it was all centred around be getting another awful pizza pun in there.

    I'm with you on this one Pouchy
    good luck to them, it's not even a competition we could enter so why begrudge them their win.
    I did nip over and congratulate them last night, but that owld peevish character MrRAWhite (Pinocchio himself) showed up and soured my thread.
