Looks like the abuse Stewie got from mackems forced him to really pay over the odds for Will Grieg. Fan power works.

OK, NUFC were lucky enough to get Joselu for a bit more, but that sort of deal is a once a lifetime opportunity.

Oh yes, I most certainly do.

 

£4m for a striker who has proven to be not good enough for the championship. Sunderland must have plenty of money because they won't get it back when they shift him. It may not be a good deal financially but as a supporter do you really care about that? If Griggs gets them out of League 1 this season, I'm sure the fans won't worry about the overspend.

Of course if they fail to get out of League 1 then some will have plenty to say about how wise this deal was. Not me though. I will too busy pissing myself with laughter.
