It wasn’t a bad young team. Darren Jackson was a good young ‘un at that time as well. Have a memory of us being on tv and being at my brother’s house for a christening and trying to discretely watch the match whilst not upsetting my wife and my parents by doing it too obviously.

Good memories.

Although memory not good enough to remember who we were playing or even which of my brother’s 2 children’s christening it was.

Everyone is turning them down. It must be the zero transfer budget or the fear of the remaining Mackem fans hounding yet another manager out the door <laugh><laugh>
